THE BRITISH COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, LILLE The British Community Association of Lille came into existence in the mid-seventies, when members of the British community created a Society to unite Anglophones in the Lille area. A dynamic organisation with an active committee and a loyal membership, the BCA is supplemented by a constant flow of English speakers on short-term postings. We provide numerous opportunities for individuals, families and their friends to meet and enjoy various social and cultural activities ranging from dinners and hikes to Bonfire Night and the Christmas Party at which Father Christmas has never failed to appear.
The committee is re-elected annually
with the exception of HM’s Consul General, the Honorary President. |
